David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities Sponsorship Request Form

David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities co-sponsors programs that support innovative activities and scholarship centered in Arts and Humanities that nurture cross- and interdisciplinary connection and collaboration, impact WSU students, and advance WSU’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.

Please note that we do not fund conference travel for faculty members. Our Faculty Fellows Program provides travel funding for archival research. Please visit the faculty fellows page for more information. We co-sponsor a limited amount of travel when the students participate in arts and humanities research and/or showcase their work beyond WSU at a regional or national platform.

If you have received funding from the DGPCAH, we ask that you fill out this post-event form and return it to arts.humanities@wsu.edu within one week of the event. This will help us share the good news of your events with external constituents.

CAH Theme: Ecologies of Care

The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities is thrilled to announce “Ecologies of Care” as its theme for the 2025-2026 academic year. What does it mean to care for someone or something? What can this work look like? An ecology of care asks us to consider how lives, stories, places, and futures are interconnected, and how acts of care can make those connections stronger, more just, and more visible. As a group of scholarly and creative minds, the Pollart Center encourages individuals to examine how their work engages with care as a personal act and/or a collective practice that shapes communities, histories, cultures, and environments

Individuals submitting a sponsorship request are urged to connect their proposal to the 2025-2026 theme.
